The wailing and gnashing of teeth of most Nigerians; some say business is not booming, economy crisis have taken over the country. And some economists have proved that if businesses do not exercise money exchange for trading, it could lead to declining of the Nation’s economy. The poor is now poorer, there is no much they could put their hands on, everything they put their hands on, they have little value or nothing to show up for.
It’s been said that in Buhari’s administration, insurgency is a big challenge to the president, if it’s not Boko Haram, Biafra are in the verge of taking their own palm of flesh. What more could prove his administration a success?
Will you say, Buhari’s administration is driving the nation into insolvency or
Buhari is doing his best to administer even distribution of the nation’s resources? Well, whatever you think, that is your own opinion.
Let me enlighten you in some certain facts. In the previous presidential administration, budget was made on the less ranked projects, in other words, money were channel into wrong source, which led to misadministration and mismanagement, much income where made to be chasing fewer goods. The purpose of money wasn’t in it’s optimum utility. Most citizens were in control of money they never worked for – money ineptitude. These clouded their minds of reasoning and they were expecting the same opportunity, oblivious that this present administration is out for CHANGE and even distribution of Nation’s resources to every sector of the country.
People saw corruption as right, first to perpetrate vice can get away with it. Among the politicians, there was competition of who steals most. We forget as Nigerians we have obligation as citizens, duties we owe our country. J.F. Kennedy said, “Think for what you will do for your country not what your country will do for you”. So, we should give more attention to our fundamental duties that could make our country winsome for us to appreciate.
The present administration is trying to harness the ineptitude utility of National’s resources, to debar unnecessary inflow of money into wrong channels, which ordinarily could have promoted corruption, tribalism, nepotism and other vices; so that we could understand that money can be earned if only we provided value for it. If money is earned in a worthy way, I believe citizens could be focused and judiciously know how to spend it by building the nation Nigeria rather than tearing it apart.
It’s a good thing that Nigerians are experiencing this present situation. Those that sat at home expecting limitless money, could now work and be useful to the labour market, and those sycophants will now come to understand that those that do not work will not eat. Buhari’s administration is aiding the politicians that squandered money unnecessarily to channel it to what it is been budgeted for, if not, the long arms of justice will catch up with them.
I believe that President Buhari knows that if excess money is in circulation, it could control the citizens’ choice of demand and supply, in other words the value of money could be reduced. So he made policies that could restrain the unnecessary circulation of money so as to encourage Nigerians to put all their arms on deck to effectively carry out their obligations in building the society, community, organizations, state and the country at large for a better nation for all. If all arms are working, all sectors will be growing, and if all sectors are growing, it could lead to development, and if development is achieved; Nigeria will no longer be seen or called a third world nation, but rather second, first or the best.
Even now, we should not verbally claim first nation in Africa, but we could in terms of our good administration; who should encourage that good administration, it is nobody but you! Pres. Obama said “change cannot come if we wait for some other time or some other persons, we are the ones we’ve been waiting for, we’re the change that we seek”. President Buhari has catalyzed you, motivated and shown you the path-way – not by wasting your effort and time looking for money that is not yours, but by becoming responsible in carrying out your duties so that Nigeria herself could be developed (positive CHANGE).
If grow leads to development, we should leave no stone unturned to achieve it. As the saying goes, “if you can’t fly, run, if you can’t run, walk, if you can’t walk, crawl”. Its improper to stand doing nothing, because worthy money will not get to you, or to earn a commendable living will not get to you through doing nothing, but only by diligent involvement in building our nation.
We are in the path of greatness as Nigerians, we can only get greatness if we throw away tribalism, corruption and nepotism, then pursue togetherness, because togetherness is strength, with togetherness we can build our nation. The nation we are talking about here is not Nigeria map, or the geographical frontiers that separate us from Cameroon, Chad, Niger, etc. but people that inhabit the land, and those people are Nigerians. One love and God bless!
