Boko Haram Deadline: Air Chief Visits Lagos

The Air Chief said part of his strategy was
to ensure a good and healthy life for his
men.
Air Marshal Abubakar added that efforts
were also being made to provide decent
accommodation, healthcare services and
welfare for his men, as a way of boosting
their morale in the war against insurgents in
north-east Nigeria.
He further said that the December deadline
was achievable and that the the military
would perform without any mercenaries.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieut.
Gen. Tukur Buratai, disclosed that the
military was working hard to succeed in
meeting up with the deadline, in spite of the
renewed bombings by suspected members of
the Boko Haram sect.
On Sunday, four suicide bombers died in an
unsuccessful attack to hit a target in
Maiduguri, Borno State.
The target, according to the National
Emergency Management Agency, is a military
checkpoint at the city centre in Maiduguri.
But the terrorists barely reached the point
before they ended their lives.
