Yesterday, Monday April 20, 2015, Nollywood practitioners converged in Lagos
to peacefully march against piracy following the recent unauthorised
reproduction/recording (piracy) of movies like Kunle Afolayan‘s October
1, Ayo Makun‘s 30 Days in Atlanta and others. Led by Yemi Sodimu, Kunle
Afolayan and others, nollywood stars began the anti-piracy march at
Ikeja under bridge and they marched through Alausa and Ikeja environs to
register their displeasure. Some notable faces present at the protest
include Gabosky, Tunde Kelani, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Sunkanmi Omobolanle,
Kehinde Bankole, Iyabo Ojo, Dotun Taylor and others....
